Orleans attorney Michael I. Flores is the principal of MICHAEL I. FLORES, LLC, a law firm devoted to the practice of divorce and family law. Michael is a Fellow in the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Currently, he is the secretary and treasurer of the Academy’s Massachusetts Chapter. Michael is also the ex-officio and past chairman of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Family Law Section Council. He represents the Cape and Islands region in the MBA’s House of Delegates.
Michael has been nominated as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer for 2013 and 2014.
Michael is a former president of the Barnstable County Bar Association and past chair of the county association’s family law committee. He appears regularly as a moderator and panelist at a family law conferences and seminars throughout Massachusetts. He has testified as an expert witness regarding the division of pension benefits in divorce cases.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and Western New England College School of Law. He resides in Orleans with his wife, Sarah, and three children.
