The law firm of Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford has opened a new office in Boston at 225 Friend St., in the city’s Bulfinch Triangle section. Partner Bruce Lipsey is based out of the office. Scott Clifford, another partner in the firm, said the office will help the firm serve its Boston and North Shore clients. It also puts Lipsey close to the hearing offices for the Social Security Administration and the Department of Industrial Accidents agencies where Lipsey conducts much of his case work. The Hanover-based firm also has offices in Plymouth, Quincy and Mansfield.

"Holbrook Native Overcomes Fear of Water to help Families Fight Breast Cancer"

On August 14, 2011, Holbrook native Scott Clifford faced his fear of water by swimming a half mile across Lake Massapoag in the Sharon Sprint Triathlon (in addition to  completing the 12.3 mile bike course and the 4.4 mile run). “I did have a panic attack about half way through but I couldn’t see the support boat so there just wasn’t anything else to do but work through it.” When asked why he would take on such a daunting task, Clifford recalls the strength of a friend who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. “Our friend Jen is going through treatment right now and we have been friends since we were kids. To see her going through all of this is really hard. She is such a strong and inspiring person. We all wanted to do something to help others facing similar struggles. I faced my fears in her honor.”

As the holidays approach, volunteers at the Hanover Emergency Food Pantry are expecting to see an increase in requests from those in need. Please stop by our Hanover office during the months of November through January where we will be accepting all donations. The pantry is in need of all non-perishable food items. Thank you!
